Proud of my heritage.

A northern Geordie Englishman (someone who is born in Newcastle upon Tyne) proud of my heritage as a Falconer, Keeper, Rescuer and my work helping Owls, Birds of prey and people with all kinds of life skills problems, through the Owl and Bird of prey activities l devised.

l am fortunate to have been involved with these unique birds, having helped many countless thousands, at the same time, privileged to have helped countless people, with all kinds life skill problems, through the unique Owl and Bird of prey, activities l have devised, all in my own time.

Breaking down barriers.

In general, what you see is what you get, fortunate to have mixed with people from all walks of life,Royalty, wealthy individuals, disadvantaged people and every section of society, with my approach being straightforward and honest, especially when it comes to Owls, Birds of prey and any subject matter relating to these birds, most certainly never telling people just what they want to hear, an approach people find refreshing, but always respecting others views and at the same time, adopting new ideas, learning from others.

Life long work.

With an interest and hands on experience with Owls, Bird of prey, the environment and also equine having spanned more years than l can remember, l am now sixty nine years old, still continuing this work as ever.

Not only have l set up charitable bird of prey organisations, built bird of prey and owl rescue enters, l have devised and developed specialist schemes for people with many different kinds of life skills problems, as on this Website.

Why do l continue this work.

Many times l have been asked why l do this work, the answer is simple, results that make a difference, helping Owls and Birds of prey, at the same time making peoples life better, furthermore, why not, these birds have made my life privileged, in addition, when l receive a Falcon or other bird at deaths door and it recovers, its all worthwhile, as l achieve success that makes my life better.

My techniques, method and approach.

My approach is very different, putting birds to sleep is the last thing on my mind, first of all, in most cases,food and water is the first thing l administer, l then devise what treatment is required and what is the plan for each case, be it release back to the wild or otherwise, with a target for success and recovery.

In some cases l will administer five different grade of food, as l have always developed my own recovery formulas, this is always administered along side food, with different treatments for whatever problems a bird may have, once recovered wild birds are put back to the wild, if disabled, this can be a litter more difficult, so a plan is devised for its future.

Wherever the case when l recover birds, my specific formulas can make a bird recover instantly, within an hour of being brought in or reported, including birds suffering starvation, along with different grades of food and applications, l have never a crop tube for any bird, only massage and syringe techniques for fast results, as time is always essential.

l have developed my own bits of different equipment for broken bones, built beaks on Falcons, Owls and other Birds of prey.

l have developed a range of other methods and equipment for bad,broken fees and bumble foot, l have even build equipment and prosthetic to help birds recover, with whatever is required at the time.
